I am not a member of the Royal Horticultural Society, but was a member for a number of years, but left when the Chelsea Flower Show tickets were no longer included in the membership fee.

I do not have any particular horticultural qualifications, but I have been an amateur gardener since I was 11 years old or over 37 years ago. I started with cacti and succulents, lawns, roses and hydroponics. I currently have 14 regular customers and a few that call on me now and again.

I had a Granny on one side of the family and a Grandfather, ‘Grandpop’, on the other side. Both of them were very involved in gardening I learnt my early gardening partly from them, partly from the 85 books that Grandpop left me and partly from trying things out. I also learnt that there are often a number of ways to carry out some garden work, such as pruning roses.

I have laid patios and lawns, built sheds and internal garden walls, designed gardens, sorted out garden problems. I have looked for the best price of solutions and produced various options for the garden owners consideration. Though feel with the landscaping & shed building jobs you may want a bigger firm click here for more details I prefer to take on regular small garden maintainance(Hour a week - an hour a month)
